For sale is ONE (1) used frame with (9) ASI/SDI IP Encapsulators and 1x 10 gig media gate. Excellent condition with some minor scratches/scuffs. Frame comes complete with both power supplies. Power cords are not included unless mentioned in the description. Because we have a quantity of these, appearances may vary, but condition is guaranteed to be better or equal to pictured sample. The 7880IP-ASI-IP is a complete hardware based solution to transform ASI to IP, IP to ASI. Module can also pass SD SDI over IP via Dual GigE interface. The 7880IP-ASI-IP can also regenerate IP from IP input with different settings and add FEC. As more providers are trying to deliver contribution and distribution quality video over IP networks, the 7880IP-ASI-IP is capable of bridging traditional compressed world (ASI) with the standard IP networks.
Controlled by the industry leading VistaLINK® PRO, the 7880IP-ASI-IP offers signal providers the capability to encapsulate MPEG-2 transport stream payload to a unicast or multicast standardized IP stream. The 7880IP-ASI-IP is also capable of receiving IP stream and re-create ASI stream. For contribution application, the 7880IP-ASI-IP offers industry standard FEC support for encapsulation or de-encapsulation.
The 7880IPG8-10GE2 is the optimal Media Gateway SDI interface access points for next generation Hybrid Baseband/IP broadcast infrastructures. With direct conversion of up to 6 signals to direct mezzanine compression via JPEG2000, the 7880IPG8 series delivers unparalleled processing densities. 7880IPG8-10GE2 port 7 & 8 also support up to 2 dedicated signal paths which could carry either of ASI, A-Link, TDM or P-Link data. 7880IPG8-10GE2 also supports HD/SDI, SD/SDI and ASI encapsulation. Encapsulation can be configured for any path 1-8 over a 10Gig interface or user configurable 1 Gig interface. The 7880IPG8-10GE2 feature Evertz 3rd generation ultra low latency, high density JPEG2000 codec technology over 10GE Ethernet or user configurable 1GE Ethernet.
