Acuity is Ross Video’s flagship production switcher, engineered to handle the most demanding live events and broadcast productions. It provides extensive compositing and transition capabilities, including 2D and optional 3D DVEs with Warp and Curvilinear effects, on-board MediaStores for still and animated files, and advanced Aux Mixing and Keying. Its design supports complex signal routing, secondary feeds, on-set monitor displays, and clean feed outputs, reducing reliance on external routing systems.
Acuity can display all 20 inputs as a single source or include them as sources within MultiViewers. It supports UHD/4K production, advanced signal processing, and multifeed operations, making it suitable for complex live events. Specialized I/O cards allow total input/output processing power or hybrid SDI/IP connectivity.
